The second championship of the 2016 NBA Summer League cycle went to the Orlando Magic (White) on Friday.

Dentmon's three-pointer accounted for the only points scored in the overtime period. He finished with 16 points and nine assists, helping lead Orlando to a 5-0 record before its home crowd.
SB Nation's Detroit Bad Boys commented on the shot:

"They used to call us the underdogs, but we found a better name—the Replacements," Dentmon said, per Will Ogburn of Orlando Pinstriped Post. "In the movie The Replacements, they came together and they won, just like us. We came together, we rallied together and we won."
Kevin Murphy led the Magic with 19 points, knocking down a pair of three-pointers and getting to the line five times. The 2012 second-round pick has played for the Hitachi SunRockers in Japan since 2015.
Former Syracuse star Arinze Onuaku was in double figures for the fifth straight game, scoring 14 points and adding 12 rebounds. Treveon Graham (11 points, six assists) and Alex Davis (10 points, five rebounds) were also in double digits.
The championship game was a back-and-forth affair for most of the way. There were 11 lead changes and 11 ties, and the Pistons forced overtime on an exciting play of their own. Detroit stripped Dentmon as he was trying to run out the clock with the Magic ahead 84-82, and Tekele Cotton finished off the play with a contested layup

The Pistons' effort was understandably top-heavy, with their last two first-round picks, Stanley Johnson and Henry Ellenson, carrying the load. Ellenson scored a game-high 22 points and added 11 rebounds, while Johnson finished with 21 points, five assists and five rebounds.
Rod Beard of the Detroit News was impressed with Ellenson:

“One of the things I’ve been really impressed about with him is I think he plays the game with great offensive confidence,” Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy said, per Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press. “He thinks he can score on anybody.”
Lorenzo Brown added 16 points and six steals for Detroit.
Orlando's 5-0 ascent ranks among the unlikeliest in recent summer-league memory. There probably isn't any player who will be on an NBA roster next season, let alone a high-profile first-round pick. Michael Frazier, probably the most interesting guy from an NBA perspective, got six minutes of playing time Friday.
Even Patricio Garino, Nnanna Egwu and Brandon Fields, who had played earlier in the summer schedule, had to leave for other obligations.
Yet what was essentially the Magic's B team kept chugging along and somehow walked away with the title.
